release tab?
i know you tabbers work really hard, but if you could make a guitar tab for Release (acoustic) that would be amazing. go ahead and take your time but
can someone work on one or does someone already have one?

There used to be one, as far as I remember. It used to say a long time ago on the tab section that one was coming soon.

hadn't noticed, no, but you're right - similar chord patterns in the chorus. by no means too similar though. they're clearly
completely different songs.

there both more or less the same riff (from what I can remember... i'd have take the time and take a good listen again) (I had learned a bunch
of there tunes for some talent show i did a few years back) , the older version has the lil intro riff.. the song is played in drop C# (or Db) if i
had some time i'd tab them out.. Its pretty simple.
heres the first lil bit to start you off (off the top of my head my guitar is no where near me right now)..
eb||-----------------------
bb||-----------------------
Gb||-----------------------
Db||--0-3p2----------3--
Ab||--0---------3h5--3--
Db||--0-------0-------3-- so on u can figure out the next
lil part ( mind you those pull offs could be chorded with something else, i'd have to have a guitar on
me)
and the verse, in short.. if i find some time i'll write out a complete tab.. the original intro with the lil solo riff and the opening bass
line ..
have fun, you got the basic idea now of the sound and the key..
Marce.

heres a start... the intro riff and the harmonics. haha. if anyone wants to take it from here. i have no idea what the tuning is, but i know that the
top two strings are down 1 step, cause of the harmonics.
|---------------|-------------| (down 1 step)
|--------5-----|------5------| (down 1 step)
|-----3--3--3-|----3--3--3-| G
|-6-6-----6---|--6-----6---| D
|---------------|-------------| A
|---------------|-------------| E

Live chris uses the radius guitar which is tuned to the same thing as songs like Sink and The day I understood. Use that tuning.
I've only seen it live once, but I remember it being played somewhere in the second position and open strings are being played.
Verse is simular to the intro, but listen for when i stops and alters the picking a bit.
Chorus from what i can remember:
eb||------------------------------------------------------------
Bb||-------------------------------------------------------------
AB||-----------------------{7}{7}-----------------------------
Eb||-0-0-0-0---------5-5----------0-0-0--2-4-2-5p4-------
Bb||-0-0-0-0---------5-5----------0-0-0--2-2-2------5\7---
Eb||-0-0-0-0---------5-5----------0-0-0--2-2-2--------------
PM a bunch
of times... then..
then repeat it.. well thats my 5 minute input.. if i had more time i'd listen to it a lil more and learn it more in depth.. maybe some other
time.. heres a good start though. have fun.
