It's funny because just the day before you posted about bowling, I was bowling for the first time in ages. A few friends and I went, and good
lord it got expensive! It cost for me and Andrea to play 2 games and rent shoes 36 dollars. That may not sound like that much, but it is a hell of
alot more expensive than it used to be. We should have gone to see a movie.

As I understand it England is big on Soccer (football for you guys?), it's not a bad sport, I'm not a huge fan of basketball though,
probably due to the whole sucking at it thing.
unfortunately, football is far too popular in this country.

so no one on this board likes to skateboard huh? you're all missing out.
i should state, i am a white male living in canada, who doesn't know the first thing about ice skating or hockey. that's right.......
nothing.
however i did play college voleyball and a bit of pro-am beach volleyball. soccer and football [both kinds] were sports that i dig.
Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am
amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record:
you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet
had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him
of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are
now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

Well here I am to help things move along ... i was just wondering if anyone here is a really good skateboarder and how long it took them to be decent
at it. Like able to go down the street without embarassing yourself? I can just picture myself going down the street and falling flat on my face
lol ...

no, i did not know that.
on that note, i was watching a b-ball game today, (colledge) and in the last second this guy made the game winning shot in the air. it was incredable.
but the refs said that the ball left his hand after the game was over, so they lost, then after that they looked closely at it in slow motion, and
found out that they caled it incorrectly, and that infact he had made it. but they couldnt change thier call, so the team lost. it turned into an
all-out riot. from b-ball to hockey to a boxing match! damn refs!

I knew about the red card in volleyball...I used to play in highschool, however, I've never heard of anyone getting one. That would have been
cool to see!!
If you have something to say, raise your hand...and put it over your mouth.
