i'll have a hack after my exams if you like. i used to think these songs were impossible to work out, but now i think the new songs are
impossible to work out and the older ones are just hard.

Not for Tremendous, I bet he could do 2 powertabs in one night if he had the time. He and I did the broke and crossed tab late one night.
What really needs to be done is have that Test Run tab added.

Well, actually we had the basics from what I can remember, but we did figure out how to play half of it properly and retab all of it that night. I
don't remember that well, but I think it only took a couple hours.
The dude has some sick skills transcribing music, that's for sure. I hope to be able to do that one day.

i'd do it... if i could actually play guitar. i got as far as learning the first few bits of incubus' "pardon me" and
"mexico" and pretty much learnt all of metallica's "nothing else matters" before i couldn't be arsed (plus my
fingers were bleeding). ask me about drums anytime.

as long as you know a little about music and have a good sense of rhythm, writing a tab in powertab isn't hard. it's not the easiest
program to use in the world but after using it for a couple of hours you get the hang of it. i've been tabbing a chimpspanner song called
spirals with a nudge or two in the right direction from the artist, i'll post it when i'm done. it's ridiculously complicated.

the sounds depend on your soundcard, and they're never brilliant. it's getting the right notes in the right order which is the objective.

i'm too nice to you guys http://www.thelivid.com/extras.php
some lead plays during the bit i've labeled "bridge" too, but it's too hard to make out since it's so low in the mix.
maybe i'll have chris look through all this at some point.

i noticed i'd uploaded the dadgad one (how i tabbed it since my guitar is in that tuning), edited the tab, changed a few things on the solo too
and then thought i uploaded it again, but it turns out i didn't. i did actually upload an updated PDF but not the powertab file. so
download it again.

done. chris told me about the end bit - i thought it was hammeron to harmonics at the 5th fret, then pick the middle one.

Woah, 4 headbanging tremendous's on one screen is more than my simple brain can handle.
On an unrelated note (but related to the topic so I guess this is on a related note and the above was on an unrelated note, but we're not here
to discuss semantics) well done on the Step Up transcription. Mad props and such.
