well i have been thinking about what i had to say about this for the past two days. i can honestly say i went through the stages of death, i denied it, got angry, depressed, confused, and sad. i considered making holy fuck my last post. i thought maybe if i just stopped thinking about it it would stop bothering me. i can't understand why this affected me so much, but it honestly did. for the last 3-4 years i've looked to the livid for any problem i've ever had, there was always a song to help me through whatever emotion, always a lyric to help me clear my mind. i realize how selfish thinking your break up was the worst thing in the world was. its your own personal decision, i should respect that. obviously things will be better for you guys this way, i should be happy for the music i've recieved. its just sad to see such a good thing come to an end. i've dreamed for the last couple of years of seeing you guys live, because to be honest everyone knows that had you stuck it out you would have gone big. just to meet you guys, hear the sounds i've loved in front of me, would have been amazing. now that its gone, i need to find something else to fill the whole. so i've decided to start doing cocaine. its changed my life.

( haha ok so i am kidding, did i scare you?) but honestly, i wish you all the best of luck. chris your talent is amazing, adam you've always been so nice and down to earth with me, rob you seem like such a cool guy, and justin your voice is the greatest ive heard yet. please doint forget the days of the livid, because none of us will.

I can say that I have finally shed tears over the band, not to sound mean or anything, but i think it helped me deal with this loss. I mean its still hurts to know there is no more of the band, I still feel awful from when Adam told me the news. Chad I feel sick as well, but I know i have to keep on moving, wow it feels like I'm writing the death of a person not the break up of a band.

I know from personal experiance that people who havent been touched by the livids music have no idea, how much it kills each of us inside. To try and explain it to them is so fucking hard.

Argh, I really wish they play one last show for us, cause I know that will help me so much in admitting that they are done for good. I mean I knew this could have happened, but I was looking on the bright side thinking they would still be strong after the summer, but now to think of it I was thinking all wrong.

But what The Livid has done was brought me amazing songs, and got me into so many other bands; like illScarlett, Keepin 6, Spinstill even, cause really without them I wouldnt be here today with the knowledge I have, and the great fans as well. I mean for those i do talk to on here I dont think I would have known you.

I really need to stop this before I cry again, cause I know once the tears have come out for me they just wont stop, thats why i was so hesitant to cry before.

To the boys : I love you all, thanks for some really good times, especially Adam, I mean we have some pretty insane jokes, and I will always think of you as my brother. The pictures I have of you guys will now go up on my wall so I can always remember the great times with great music.

I actually fell for it, Jorge. You bastard.
I was ready to slap you silly.

A show before the 20th would be wicked. We'd all get to meet Ian..that'd be ridiculously wicked. Then we can all cry together and give The Livid one last standing ovation.

All good things must come to an end, my friends. It's unfortunate that such an amazing talent can fold their cards so quickly, but I believe the time was right. I just want to thank the band members(new and old), for inspiring me to be a musician and teaching me how to rock hard. Honeslty, you fella's pumped out some ingenious tracks that shall never be forgotten by your loyal and wonderful fans. The Livid's lyrics were beautiful and untill her last moment, she kept me awake and rockin hard.

Thanks for all the good memories.
RIP - The Livid

one last show.

P.S- Thanks to everyone who read all of my awful posts. You guys are pro. I only hope that you were all able to live through their lyrics as much as I was. If I don't talk with you guys later, or see you in person, I'll see you all in a much brighter place.

But seriously, super fantastic seeing Rob at the show on Saturday, doing his bouncer business.

Highlight of the night:

"She's from the outskirts, that shit doesn't go down well in the city."

Kudos to Schembri for putting on such a wicked show for everyone.
