shows in southern Ontario
My name is jip, and i'm in a rock outfit from Thunder Bay called Vaya, and we're going to be touring Southern ontario this May.
If anyone in here knows of some venues/places/bands that we can play at or with, it'd be much appreciated.
Either contact vayaband@hotmail.com, or respond to this thread.
We would be most happy to return the favour sometime!

woot!
sweetness!
If anyone knows how and if the livid would play a show with us at the masonic lodge, would you be able to hook me up with some contact information?
Princess Punk: Would you be able to play some of our tunes on your show or something? We have friends here at Lakehead University who do the
"Pretentious Indie Fun Hours" and some other shows (only online at the moment).
Anyways....
thanks for the help! keep it coming if you can!!

Hey Jip,
A few places you might want to call:
Horseshoe Tavern
Lees Palace
The Reverb
Kathedral
The Hardball
Club 360
Elmocambo
I've been calling around myself trying to book more shows for The Livid. If I'm asked if I know any other bands, I'll surely bring
you guys up.
Also I'm considering renting out The Opera House In Toronto for a Livid show.. by the looks of it I will need other bands if I'm going to
do this.
Just to let you know, Toronto is a tough place to play. It's not too hard go get a gig, but at some of the places above, if you don't draw
a decent number of people when you play, you probably won't be playing there again for a while. Also keep in mind, that clubs down here
don't really pay bands anything unless they have the ability to pack the place. My advice is to make sure that you have a strong enough fan base
to support a tour. Otherwise you'll be wasting your money.
Dag
PS if you need any help or anything feel free to email me streetteam@thelivid.com

The Smear Campaign owns you.
Hey Jip, I've heard some of your songs and I think they're pretty sweet. I'd love to see you guys play a show down here.
Good bands to play with:
The Livid
Illscarlett
Keepin 6
A great venue to play at is the Burlington Music Centre. Or at the masonic lodge, because that's closer to me and only I am important.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

god.
P.P.S. A guy I know from Marathon plays in the band Watching You Die. Do you know them at all? He's a crazy mofo.
