Why so many people sign up for this forum but never post. You don't have to sign up to read the posts, so that's not the reason they
register. Do these people just forget about this site after they sign up?

I thought this post was going to be about my greatness, my dear Jeff..
You know, something along the lines of...I don't know..possibly
"I was just wondering why Dez is so great, I wish I could be more like her"
ahahahaha just kidding...let's stay on topic here.
-You know, I think some people join and DONT know if they're gonna be able to contribute to the posting community or not, maybe something comes
up and they have no internet, or forget their username, password AND email, so that there is no way to retrieve it...
-Maybe they're just lazy.
OR!
-Maybe they thing that by joining they'll get free stuff...then once they find out they wont, they never come back.
you won't let me down...

They are probably intimidated by how amazing I am. They are worried that their posts won't be as amazing as mine. With good reason might I add,
but still they should post. I went through and counted one time, and something like 60% of the people signed up haven't posted once. Well, maybe
it wasn't 60%... but it was very high.

Ya itimidation(sp?) would play a big part.. Especially when one "speical" person has 1216 posts! Also, maybe they forgot the URL or got
that job that they've been hoping for. Other special cases might be because of death or allergies.. to forums.
one last show.

I have wondered that myself. I'm sure it's just kind of an impulse thing really, then they realize that this board may be too slow paced
and boring for them. I don't think it is, but I can see why alot of people would think that.
But it's the same thing on why do only certain people post in some of the threads even though most threads are directed to everyone. Just lazy
and uninterested.
1200+ posts is quite insane on a website like this, that's for sure, but most websites that is almost a bare minimum before you are recognized
by other members. I used to be obsessed with the finger eleven board about 3 years ago and I had well over a thousand posts in just about a month or
two. How many people really post on here frequently? I'd say about 15-20. Personally I kinda like it that way, it's stops from alot of
bullshit and keeps things a little more personal.

ya this is the only forum i have stuck to ever....i really like how there is a limited number of people you can get to know and expect to hear certain
things from them(eg. Gods greatness and spontaniousity, Dez's Energy(although i must admit it has decreased since i first started posting on
this forum)
I remember when i first started posting on this site i really was intimitated and only posted very short things because didn't want to have a
bad reputation now i say fuck yo uall i'm gonna ramble on all day and you can't do anyting about it(with exception to the moderators*plus
dont hurt me(expecailly god i know you want to)

I used to be one of the quiet people. I registered on June 12th, even a while before that I was registered as a different user, and I didn't
start talking until a few months ago. Simply because I felt I didn't have anything worth saying.

I've been registered for a while now, but I have never had computer access until I moved to Ontario in October. I only posted spuratically, and
it was only in the band forum, because I had questions about the band I wanted to know. I didn't even know this existed, really.

I didn't really start posting very much until after the Holloween show, when I met some of the forum members in person, namely Bart and Dez.

i think intimidation and overwhelmingness is a big part of it. it was for me anyway, untill about 3 months ago. like reivax, i didn't even know
the unrelated section even existed until a little bit ago. i also think that people sign up cause they want to ask 1 or 2 questions only. or comment
on the greatness of the livid, and then leave. but i like the smaller group of people. more intimate and personal. it's the only message board
i've stuck with, mostly cause all of the other mbs iv signed up for have really strange, freaky, and immature members. yay for everyone here!

Well, to be honest, when I first signed up I was reluctant to post. My reasons were probably a lot different to others though.
Basically I felt like I didn't belong, since this is the first message board I'd ever been to where there were so many groups of people
who knew each other outside the Net. I felt wary of intruding in topics becuase it was like being a stranger butting in on two friends having a
conversation.
I still have the thought in the back of my head that I don't fit in, but I just try and ignore it. In my mind I'm so different from
everyone else, the only thing that's kept me going is that we all share one common thought, everyone here loves listening to The Livid's
music.

Awww....that's fucking silly, man. How do you really know that you are so different? Everyone on here is different. You belong here just as much
as anyone else, and that's the bottom line. Stop thinking that way. Don't mean to be too blunt, I just don't want you or anyone to
think that.

have a feeling that no one is ogna be doing that so i guess i'll always be by myself when it comes to the western side of canada

I didn't see that until NOW hah.
Thank you sooo much hun, I think...
And, it's decreased I guess because I'm starting to have less and less time to post on this site, PLUS I haven't been feeling all
that wonderful lately hah.
My most sincere apologies, the energy will be back eventually.
