billy talent @ horseshoe tavern

tonight [tuesday, jan 6/04] at the horseshoe tavern, billy talent is putting on an unpromoted friends and family show. no none knows about it except for the direct friends and/or family of the band.

since i kinda like you guys, i'm telling you. if you can get there, enjoy the show. just thank me when you see me.

[Edited on 7-1-04 by mr. dobalina]

Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

it's a shame you guys missed out. it was a rocking show. sorry i couldn't give you guys a time. they told me to show up at 9pm. it was new music night as aways, but they were on first. [approx 9:45pm].

in case you were wondering, since this is the livid message board, mr schembri and xtian were at the show.

Mr.Dobalina...if I ever see you, you're getting a kick in the butt from me for not GIVING US A TIME.
I had already arranged for a ride and everything, and was just waiting for someone, anyone to say "NOW" or whatever, and I would have gone...

It's okay, I'll move on...
And yes, I still <3 you.

Should've just gone Dez. Never any sense in waiting once it's past 8 for a show. All shows pretty much start at the same time anyways around 9ish.

Oh and Mr Dobs... you're getting a swift kick in the bum from me too just because.

contrary to popular belief, the salads and flashlight brown did not play. however, they were a part of the crowd.

again i say sorry about not giving a time. they told me about it yesterday afternoon, and while i was waiting for my ride to come i thought i'd provide a community service and announce it [even though it was supposed to remain unpromoted].

next time, i'll do a better job

i'd tell him to watch out, but after last nights show, they basically had to pack up and head out. they started their second cross-canada today.

but seriously........ stop being creepy.
