My name is Jorge and I am an alcoholic

alright new topic here. this is were we have out AA meetings from now on

This is to post your favorite alcoholic beverages. If you are a firm beleiver of not drinking you may want to leave now, or you can express why you don't beleive in drinking

so what we want is 3 fav beers(in order) and 2 fav harder drinks(rum, rye, whiskey, vodka, whatever.

if you don't drink beer go ahead and put what coolers you like

1. Victorian Bitter
2. Carlton Draught
3. Melbourne Bitter
4. Hahn Ice

Stronger shit:
1. Vodka (with orange juice generally, though it depends on how drunk I am)
2. frosties
3. Midori
4. Bundaberg Rum

this is my take on beer, i dont think anyone in the world agrees with me but this is pretty much my outlook on beer: dark beer is dark beer, it all tastes the same. regular beer is beer, it all tastes the same. light beer is beer + water, it all tastes the same. dont get me wrong, i like beer just as much as the next southern redneck, but personally, its all the same to me.

i like jack...smooooth

anything with flavor, although i never get to drink them. they always tell me, "you gotta be a man! real man doesn't drink flavored alcohol. real man drinks beer and jack!" well whatever, the only time i drink is when i plan on getting wasted. its usually no fun unless i can't remember what i did anyway.

This thread gets two thumbs up from me...
Why? Because, it revolves around drinking.

Cheers everyone! *clinks glass*

And..when it comes to champagne..I oddly enough only like the expensive kind..
like...my all time favourite..
Don Perignon...*drools*
Over $150cdn a bottle.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!
Fosters! Oh Bart, I could kiss you now haha. I've been to shy to ask my friend what beer it was since I can't personally buy it anyway.
I even made Beer Can Chicken with it for dinner some other time..

Yes yes, Fosters. Verrrry good.

Oh guys, just wait till Joel gets ahold of this thread. If there's anyone who can discuss the art and beauty of drinking, it's him hah.

Alright. I'm not too much of a drinker, but I know what I like.

The beer that I drink the most is Corona. It's the best, hands down. I also like MGD, too. And third beer I drink the most, even though I don't necesserely like it, is Blue.

I like rye and cokes. And caesars are actually really good, too. The one thing that I never thought I would like, but I LOVE is adding clamato to my beer. When I worked at a casino years ago, alot of people would get clamato on the side with their beer. It seemed so gross to me until I tried it, and it was delicious.

I think people should list the drinks that they hate, too. I hate Vodka beverages...like smirnoff ice. They taste pretty good, but they are instantly unsettled in my stomach and make me feel like throwing up. And probably my number one hated alcohol is wine. I can't stand wine. It makes me gag. The only thing that I can drink that is similar to wine is Zinfandel. And we all know tequila is the devil's drink. I think half of the time I see people take a shot of tequila they throw it up almost instantaneously. That shit is nasty.

There is nothing better than a cold Grolsch, but most of the pubs round here dont have it on tap.

When I was in Oz, I agree with Sin, "Victoria bitter" wins hands down.

In Belgium, the best is Juplier or Maes. Hoegaarden also gets a mention.

But I always end up drinking stella because its cheap and gets me lairy every time. We call it "wife beater" down here.

I went though a phase of ordering double vodka redbull, but now I'm sick of it, so now I have double vodka and coke. Then usally one or two tequllia slammers finshing off with a sambuca.

Sends me to bed pretty damm quick.

Tequila is the devil. Refer back to that "bust a gut" thread for further proof.

I know alot of people like it. But for me, it goes in and comes right back out.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.
